What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

A transparent device that allows certain Pokemon species change. It was created by Silph Co.

The item upgrader is an additional widget to the top of both the Angel and Cash Upgrade Windows. This Manager costs 33 billion Angel Investors and offers no benefits to gameplay other than making it easier to see and purchase upgrades.

Boosters

Costs

There are some costs that are associated with upgrades to items. The first cost is the upgrade itself. This price is contingent on the new ilvl of the item and the amount of perks it gains and is often expensive. Upgrades to a higher level (such as Explorer to Champion or Veteran to Heroic) can be costly.

The second is the price of the materials required to upgrade. These items are typically Power Dices (dropped from monsters 21+), Minerals and Erons or specific Mists Of Pandaria or Warlords Of Draenor Quests. These materials can be found in the inventory of an upgrade vendor.

This item is beneficial in the event that you have an item or weapon gear that has reached the highest level for its tier, or is close to it. It will let you upgrade the equipment to the next level without worrying about breaking.
