Many of the best robot vacuum cleaner and mop models are compatible with smartphones. Find an app that allows you to save maps, schedules, and choose cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum cleaner vacuum and mop combos available on the market. It uses lidar to navigate, and create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set schedules and customize the S1's behavior.

When I tested the S1, it was able to locate the downstairs area, which has Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, plus medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It was capable of driving up to walls and even cross thresholds that are raised without issue. However it was a bit difficult navigating down the stairs in one step. The S1 also did a fantastic job of cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving smoothly on its flat side against the floor and lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or carpet.

Prior to each mopping session the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills its water tank with clean filtered ozonated water. The dock adds a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1 water tank can be able to accommodate 12 cleaning sessions, but it will differ depending on the frequency you use the mop.

The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like all 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to periodically rinse out the tank that has been contaminated to keep it from becoming blocked. You'll also need to clean the swivel wheel and sensors frequently to avoid them from getting blocked by dirt or dust. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-one robot mop and vacuum from Ecovacs is a powerful option to meet your cleaning requirements. Its robot vacuum has 8700Pa suction power, and comes with a variety of advanced features like voice control and smart path planning that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. The mopping feature is remarkable, with mops rotating that actually lift and scrub the floor instead of simply dragging the pad across it. Mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station, if needed.

The robot comes with an easy interface that guides you throughout the process. It includes a rechargeable hand vacuum for those hard-to-reach areas that the robot can't reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically empty and replenished when required. It comes with a range of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does excellent job of vacuuming, and has a powerful suction that easily picks up most debris and even the tiny dust particles that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are solid as well, though it does sometimes get hung up on the tiny area mats or Robot Vacuum Cleaner Reviews (47.119.20.13) rugs that I have in my house (which is something you can control by creating a virtual border in the application). The mops are cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station when required. The mops can also be filled at the top of the station as they are required.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. But their new flagship model has even more impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a contender for our top list of mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush ensure a thorough, customized clean is completed.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up large and fine particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It also cleaned the most filthy areas well, and eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other dirt. The sweeping capability of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush that extends to reach hard-to-reach areas, and mop pads that run across baseboards.

Its navigation is smart it can navigate through small spaces and negotiating stairways without skipping a step. It can move from one area to another without reversing direction which is a great feature for larger homes with several rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than other models, however, and tends to leave a thick space over obstacles, which can result in missed spots.

The app's interface is intuitive and easy to use. It should be easy to use for novice and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleaning tasks. You can also adjust the suction power, mop settings, and view 3-D and 2D maps. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You will need a stable WiFi connection to run the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 pro

Robot vacuums are excellent at picking up dirt and debris, but they're not able to get all dust. It's important to vacuum regularly, once a week. The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, such as the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it's cheaper since it does not have mopping capabilities and has plastic body.

The Q5 is still one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping robots we've seen at this price even though it's not able to clean your floors. It features a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system, which means you don't need to manually empty the bin every time. It comes with a smart application that lets you schedule cleanings and set the floor type. It also comes with an automatic vacuum and mop robot water tank filling system and washing system that is hands-free.

The mops also stand out, with a 2700Pa power to combat pet hair and dirt on carpets as well as hard flooring. The Q5 was one of the few robots we tested that did not have a problem with high-pile area carpets and rugs. However, it was able to not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't a surprise as it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we have tested. It also utilizes a unique system to map your home, which really helps it get into corners and tight spaces that other vacuums can't reach. This device also stores dust in a bigger dustbin which means you need empty it less frequently. It also has washable filters which can further cut costs.
